Brewing Hope: Our Partnership with Joseph Brant Hospital
At Blackwell Coffee Co., we believe that every cup of coffee can make a difference. That’s why we’ve teamed up with our sister company, Laila’s Cheesecake Co., to create a meaningful impact in our community. Our joint initiative, “Coffee for a Cause,” channels a portion from every bag of coffee sold towards Joseph Brant Hospital’s emergency department.
On April 26th, 2024, we were hosted by Joseph Brant Hospital for a special fundraising event with Laila’s Cheesecake Co. where cheesecake and coffee enthusiasts purchased Cake and beans. For every jar of cheesecake and from for every bag of coffee sold, $1 was earmarked for Joseph Brant Hospital. But this isn’t a one-time effort—we’ve been at it since May 17th, July 26th, and October 20th, 2023. Together with Laila’s Cheesecake Co., we’ve raised funds to support critical healthcare services in our community.
Our customers aren’t just savoring a delicious cup of coffee; they’re contributing to a cause. With each sip, they’re helping Joseph Brant Hospital save lives, provide urgent care, and offer comfort to those in need. It’s heartwarming to witness the power of community coming together over a shared love for coffee.
